Trinity College Cambridge
At Trinity College Cambridge again this month, for an on-going assignment for design agency Strong-Point Design. This image shows a statue of Sir Isaac Newton - a fellow at Trinity - in front of the the Second World War Roll of Honour, engraved in Portland stone inside the Chapel. Over one thousand Trinity fellows, students and staff, who gave their lives in both world wars, are commemorated on the Chapel walls.
The Royal British Legion launched their 'Every man remembered' campaign this year, which aims to ensure that by 2019, every one of the 1,117,077 Commonwealth Service men and women killed during the war will be individually remembered. Visit www.everymanremembered.org and make a commemoration; it could be someone related to you or, as in my case, someone unrelated who hasn't yet been remembered, possibly because there aren't any surviving descendants.
